Neil Lennon has given a quick update on Greg Taylor to Celtic admitting there’s a bit of a hold up but not at Celtic’s end of things.

The Irishman is keen to get Greg in before the end of play today and signs look like that will be the case but you can’t take anything for granted – especially on deadline day.

Coming off the back of a great win st Ibrox, to get Greg in before midnight tonight would be a great piece of business and strengthen the back line.

Speaking to RecordSport about the deal Neil Lennon confirmed the hold up.

“There is a bit of a hold up but not at our end.

“We’ll see how that develops.”

When the clock strikes midnight all deals must be signed, sealed and delivered.

Celtic have lost Kieran Tierney in this window along with the likes of Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Fillip Benkovic – that’s why there has been so much focus on the defence.

We’ll be keeping an eye on developments today so stick with us while we follow this transfer window until the bitter end.
