Neil Lennon has provided a transfer update but wouldn’t mention any names.

The Celtic manager is confident there will be more additions but stopped short of letting the support know who he has in mind.

Since coming back as manager, Lenny has told the support he has been confident a transfer will get over the line, only for it to fall flat, because of that, he’s playing his cards close to his chest.

When the talk of signings was brought up during his CelticTV interview, the Celtic gaffer knows the areas he wants to strengthen and is confident of adding to his squad.

“We’re looking at areas we need to add to. We’ve cleared the decks quite a bit.

“So we’re looking to add one or two to what we already have.

“I’m pretty happy with the squad and the way it is shaping up at the minute.

“But it’s always good to add one or two where and when we can. We are always looking for quality.”

Celtic take on KR in the first round of qualifiers on Tuesday evening. Celtic should have more than enough to get past the Icelandic side on the night. Vassilis Barkas is set to make his Parkhead bow but Albian Ajeti will not be starting the match.
