NEIL LENNON was asked to respond to the suggestion by The Rangers chairman earlier this week that Celtic’s dominance was coming to an end with the Ibrox club confident of taking the next step.
There’s been a lot of noise at the end and start of every season since the Ibrox club debuted in the SPFL.
The Interim Celtic boss raised a smile in his press conference as he was asked the question and remained very diplomatic in his answer.
“It’s not for me to say,” Lennon told Clyde One “Others can give their opinion on that.
“I can only speak on behalf of Celtic and since 2000 our record domestically has been pretty good.
“We have good people, good recruitment and a class board who keep their powder dry.
“We don’t talk ourselves up, we just try and maintain our standards over the past few years or so.”
The former Celtic captain basically saying that we don’t talk the talk, we walk the walk.
Chris Sutton levelled that same accusation at Ibrox midfielder Scott Arfield who spoke about the gap closing this week too.

Celtic go into this weekends tie with Hibs knowing a Gers slip up will put the Bhoys on the brink of the title on Sunday.
