Celtic manager, Neil Lennon has served his side with a warning, with the squad having the chance to create even more history by winning a fourth successive treble in a row, which no one in Scotland has been able to achieve.

As reported by the Glasgow Times, the Northern Irishman spoke about how big an occasion this really is and about how his players have the chance to do something that never has been or likely will be done, ever again.

“I totally agree (that it is a remarkable achievement). These players should be given that respect. We’ll never see it again, I don’t think.

“It’s another semi-final. The players are really looking forward to it and we’ve had a good look at Aberdeen. There’s a familiarity there. We know what we’ll come up against and semi-finals are always tense occasions.

“I think this one will be the first one at Hampden without a crowd, so it will be different, but the premise is the game. We’d dearly love to win the game.”

It is crazy to think we are still looking to complete the treble from last season after all that has gone on in the last seven or eight months and having to play a Scottish Cup semi-final at the beginning of November will certainly have a strange feel to it.

With a lot of these players featuring in our run so far to winning three trebles in a row, with some even featuring all the way through, this is a squad who know what it takes to win trophies and on the big stage.

We need to use that experience and take it into Sunday, in order for us to reach our fourth consecutive Scottish Cup final and give us the chance of completing the Quadtriple Treble.
