NEIL LENNON is set to make a move for Celtic outcast Ismalia Soro, according to many reports in Cyprus via the Daily Record.

The former Celtic manager brought Soro to the club in January 2020 and broke into the Celtic team the season following. Now, Lennon wants to reunite with Soro at his current side Omonia.

The Cypriot side won the cup under Neil Lennon and have booked themselves a slot in the Europa League next season. The Northern Irish manager is trying to add some quality to his team over the summer to compete in Europe’s second tier.

The Parkhead are looking to move the midfielder on this summer, as Ange Postecoglou continues the Celtic rebuild.

Soro would need to take a significant wage cut to join Lennon in Cyprus.

The midfeilder has been linked to American clubs, as well as clubs in Holland in the past.

It’ll be interesting to see how this story develops over the coming days and weeks.
