Neil Lennon looks like he could be set to part ways with Brendan Rodgers signing Jack Hendry this January with at least two clubs interested in ending the former Dundee man’s exile.

Hendry signed for Celtic two years ago under the Rodgers regime and at the time Dundee announced it was a record breaking piece of transfer business for them.

However, the Celtic defender has found first team opportunities very hard to come by and when he has had a chance, the player has looked unimpressive.

Celtic are looking to offload some fringe players this winter window and if RecordSport are to be believed – Blackpool and Lincoln are set to offer Hendry a first team opportunity, initially on loan.

With Jack’s opportunities limited, it would be best for both parties if he moved on.

Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer occupy both centre-back spots with Nir Bitton, Hatem Elhamed and Jozo Simunovic alternatives when fit.
