According to reports, Neil Lennon is set to hold clear the air talks with Scott Sinclair as the Irishman readies the player to return to the fold.

Football Insider report that once the Celtic players reassemble after their short break Lennon will sit down with the midfielder.

The Englishman is yet to start a game this season with Mikey Johnston playing in his role and Lewis Morgan being preferred as back-up. There was some good news for Sinclair last week when it was revealed the player had made the Europa League squad for the group stage. This wasn’t a given with so many new players in and only so many slots up for grabs.

In the end, Neil Lennon decided to include the likes of Sinclair and keep both Gordon and Bain in the mix also when he could have left one out.

There’s no doubt Sinclair can play a role in this season’s success. Lewis Morgan has looked out of sorts when given the chance. Celtic are fighting on four fronts and will need to make use of their large squad.

Sinclair is on the last year of his Celtic contract after the club chose to trigger his final year which is said to be worth a £1.7m (Over £32kpw) according to SunSport.
