Neil Lennon could find his way back into management before the end of the year according to reports down south.

There Irishman is supposedly in contention for the vacant Ipswich job after Paul Cook was sacked on Saturday as cited by SunSport.

The League One side are now on the look out for a new manager and whether Ipswich have him on a shortlist or his reps have contacted the club remains to be seen.

During his Celtic stints, Neil managed Bolton, a club with so many financial troubles the coaching staff at the time actually went into their own pockets to pay some of the players.

The former Hoops boss has been out of football since the end of February when he was finally let go by Celtic with a decent settlement figure for his rolling contract.

There is a clear divide among the support when it comes to Neil at the moment. There are fans who refuse to criticise him for last season’s disaster and fans who believe he had a lot to do with the downfall of Celtic during lockdown football.

Will Neil finally get back into management?
