Neil Lennon has come out swinging at Charlie Nicholas after Celtic fans woke up to a tirade from the former Celtic player claiming Celtic had a bad window and the club took the cheap option.
Nicholas also claimed Neil would be secretly seething but putting a brave face on it.
Speaking as his manager of the month press conference today. The Celtic manager slammed the comments and called Charlie out for his Celtic negativity.

There is no mincing words here, Neil Lennon is talking for a large portion of the Celtic support who are sick of Charlie constantly sticking the boot into the champions. This negativity comes during a period of unprecedented success, three trebles, eleven consecutive domestic titles won.
I would hate to hear what Charlie would say if we actually lost a trophy. We are totally behind the Celtic manager with his comments today. Charlie should be nowhere near Celtic Park, not like he comes up to visit anyway.
