Albian Ajeti didn’t have a good debut season at Celtic.

The Swiss striker was in and out of the team and looked off the pace in the outings he did get.

The frontman started well enough – scoring five in six – but after that the frontman tapered off.

One criticism of Albian was he looked to be carrying a bit of extra weight that was prohibiting him from being able to hit a good run of form when in the team.

A video posted on the Celtic Twitter account on Friday showed the players getting put through their paces by new boss Ange Postecoglou.

One eagle-eyed supporter noticed Albian Ajeti looked to have shed some pounds and looks leaner ahead of the new season.

Albian is a poacher who can also bring wingers and midfielders into play with his hold up play. I don’t think he should be written off yet – there’s every chance he can be a big asset to Celtic next season:

  1. Sell him, he was fat, lazy and unfit last season and didn’t care, his first season he should have made 100% effort and didn’t,we don’t need that type of player and attitude.

  2. Totally disagree pretty sure Ange will get best out of him and other “rejects”. If they don’t apply themselves and keep fit they will be out but think Ange has the management tools to turn these players around.
