Neil Lennon is back out in the media and he’s happy to continue to talk about players at the club.

The former Celtic manager was asked about Odsonne Edouard and if he wanted away last summer when Neil was still in charge. The Irishman confirmed Eddy wanted to leave and his reps were ready for the striker to move on.

However when the pandemic hit and every club tightened their belts, the Hoops only got one bid for the striker which was nowhere near his valuation.

Neil then claimed Eddy’s head wasn’t in the game during pre-season and things were difficult.

Celtic have moved on since the Neil Lennon era, quicker than some perhaps anticipated.

The Celtic manager still will take little responsibility for our horrible capitulation last season and wants to leave it at the door of anyone else bar himself.

His devout supporters who can’t see past his Celtic status to even criticise the way he went about his business last season will eat up this type of interview.
