If ever there was a time to get yourself a full fit squad this is it. The champions are on the home stretch but with still a lot of football to be played. Neil Lennon won’t any falter to the Hooped steamrolling machine that has come out of the traps in 2020.
The Bhoys have scored 27 goals in 2020 and only conceded 3 as they won all of their eight consecutive domestic games. The manager will want to keep this incredible momentum going as we enter the business part of the season.
Been champions for eight years in a row and winning treble trebles gives the core group of this Celtic team the knowledge to overcome the upcoming challenges. There is also a European fixture to contend with as the Bhoys push to progress into the last 16 of the Europa League.
That is why Neil Lennon’s injury update today will be a massive boost to the squad. Speaking on the clubs official website the manager gave this update.
“Jeremie trained yesterday,” he said. “Bitton and Elhamed have been training so they’re into the groove and Mo is more or less fit now as well.
“It’s hard to leave players out who are in form. Sometimes it’s a game of patience for the players coming back in, but with the amount of games coming up it’s important to rotate players. We were able to do that at the weekend and we were able to give some players a break on Wednesday night when they were comfortable in the game.”
