Neil Lennon’s agent Martin Reilly was over supporting his client and friend as the former Celtic manager landed the Cypriot Cup on Wednesday evening.

It was a fiery affair where Neil watched his Omonia side go down to ten men in the first five minutes of the game. Miraculously, they played rest of normal time and extra time with a man down – taking it to penalties.

Lennon’s side won 5-4 from the spot landing them an unlikely bit of silverware!

Martin being at the game shot some footage of the celebrations but then had a not so subtle dig at The Rangers and their penalty misfortune a week prior in Seville.

Neil Lennon made the move to Cyprus after admitting last season at Celtic had done his reputation major harm in the game over in the UK. The former midfielder was finding it difficult to get into management closer to home so decided it was best to try something completely different.

Things didn’t end well at Celtic the second time around for the Irishman. Unable to handle wantaway players, losing the dressing room amidst the backdrop of a lockdown season was tough for the Celtic legend.

It’s good to see Neil enjoy success elsewhere and Celtic back to winning ways at the same time.
