Celtic are flying high in Europe but if there was a game that will bring you back down to earth it would be a very cold, early kick-off in the highlands. The game presents a chance for Celtic to continue their winning run in the league but it won’t be without its troubles.
The biggest issue Celtic have at the moment is the injury to Edouard. We saw Lewis Morgan come in on Thursday and do well for the bhoys but is playing the midfielder out of position going to be the best idea against County if Eddy doesn’t make it?
Until this point, Neil Lennon has been reluctant to start Leigh Griffiths, but you’d think if the Frenchman isn’t going to make the game it would be the perfect time to bring the striker in for a start.
If Eddy doesn’t make it and we improvise without starting Leigh it could present a real problem for the bhoys.
We have no reason to distrust Neil Lennon’s selection – he’s earned the right and it probably comes more from a place that we want to see Leigh get back among the goals. A start could see the frontman finally get back into the swing of things.
A fully fit and scoring Leigh getting back at it would be a massive boost to our title charge.
