Neil Lennon must trust his loan stars to do a job for the bhoys in the coming weeks or risk more dropped points before the end of the season.

Neil Lennon has been reluctant to play Timothy Weah and Oliver Burke in the starting XI and now it even looks as if Filip Benkovic is getting the same treatment.

Benkovic is by far Celtic’s best defender at the club at this minute so he should be playing if he is fit. Burke and Weah are more subjective but neither player has had a chance to get on a roll with Neil Lennon. The Irishman sticking with Edouard up front and Jonny Hayes in attacking midfield means there’s no space for either.

While Burke and Weah also have their flaws and in no way am I saying they should start every game but utilise them while they’re here! Both players have the energy and talent to give Celtic an edge when they look flat.

Scott Sinclair is another guy who is suffering from Neil Lennon’s changes. No one can argue Scott has always been at his best this season but he still managed to score goals and create chances. Hayes has played one good game for the club and it came when the whole side were on fire in the semi-final versus Aberdeen.

If Tierney is to be out for the rest of the season then Izzy should drop out of the side with Hayes coming back as a defender, leaving the more creative players to work their magic.
