NEIL LENNON is currently striking the balance between domestic form and playing well in Europe as he looks to retain Celtic’s dominance domestically and enhance our European credentials.

It’s not an easy thing to do and then balancing act will only get harder the longer we’re in so many competitions.

It’s so far, so good for the bhoys with them sitting at the top of both the SPFL table and their Europa League group as well as reaching the final of the League Cup.

Speaking about keeping the run going in Europe with Lazio away up next for the bhoys – Neil wants Celtic players to go and do the supporters proud and give them a team worth shouting about in Europe.

“I emphasise to the players how important doing well in Europe is without taking our eye off the ball with what we want to do at home.” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.

“That will always be important to us, but to keep enhancing the reputation of the club and the players it’s vital we make a fist of it in Europe. The players have done that. So far.”

There will be no shortage of Celtic fans inside the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday evening with over 9k Celtic fans set to attend the fixture in Italy.

If they could witness another top result in Europe it would certainly be a massive liftz
