Celtic wrapped up a third successive Scottish Premiership title at Rugby Park on Wednesday evening, putting Kilmarnock to the sword in a dominant 5-0 triumph.

The Hoops were on fire from the off, Adam Idah opening the scoring five minutes in. Daizen Maeda doubled the lead not long after before James Forrest and Matt O’Riley both got in on the act.

It was arguably the Celts’ best performance of the campaign so far and in the away end, the travelling supporters were raucous.

A rousing cheer went up when the full-time whistle sounded and an impressive pyrotechnics display soon transpired.

Amid the chaos, however, one of Sky Sports’ sound wires was burned by the pyro and thus part of their post-match coverage was inaudible.

Hilariously, pundit and former Celtic manager Neil Lennon reacted to this. He said: [live on Sky Sports] “No pyro no party, you know what I mean!”

In a chipper mood after seeing his old team win the league, Lennon got a deserved warm reception from the away fans.

Rodgers was classy as ever and ensured he got a cheer in one of several memorable moments from an unforgettable night.
