NEIL LENNON has given his instant reaction after the club were drawn in a group with Lazio, Rennes and Cluj.
The Celtic boss seems happy with the draw and believes the club can make an impact on the group.
Trips to Italy and France and as Neil says below – revenge mission to Romania is on the cards in what will be an exciting group.
Celtic feel like they didn’t do themselves justice against Cluj and now they have the chance to right the wrong from earlier this season.
It does mean more nonsense and noise from Dan Petrescu and his bunch.
“It’s a great draw. A couple of glamour games and the chance for some retribution against Cluj.” Lennon told CelticTV.
“Lazio is a great draw. A trip to Rome is something everyone will look forward to. I think we can make an impact in the group.”
Celtic will find out the fixture list and where the matches fall in the coming hours. It’s a chance to see how well we can do against some pretty tough teams.
Rennes beat PSG a few weeks back and will fancy their chances in the group. Home ties will be essential and Celtic need to build the place into a fortress again.
