NEIL LENNON has shared his concerns about the next international break.

The bhoys will go on their way to play for their countries after the St Johnstone game on Sunday and there will be thirteen days between the match at McDermid park and the Glasgow Derby.

In that time, some of our bhoys could have played three games AND only return to Lennoxtown two days prior to the Derby.

The Irishman knows how difficult a period it can be and that he can’t wrap his top stars in cotton wool before such a big game.

“Yeah its massive – it is not just the Scottish boys, there are Israeli boys, Norwegian, Shane with Ireland.”Lennon told SunSport.

“All of the boys who are away could be involved in three games, that could mean they play on the Wednesday, travel back on the Thursday, the game is Saturday morning so we will have no time at all really on the training ground with them.

“It is a cause for concern, one – picking up injuries and then the little time we will have with them when we come back.”

The Derby game is massive. There will be no fans in the stadium but three vital points up for grabs. Celtic are one point off the top with a game in hand at the moment and if they win against St Johnstone they would be in a position to go top with a win in the Derby.

Let’s hope there are no injuries.
