Neil Lennon added another woeful result to his stinker of a season as Celtic manager and we are forced to ask, what would it take for the board to relieve the Irishman of his duties?

The board have shown an unwillingness to do anything other than sitting on their hands and stay silent, hoping the problem will fix itself.

It’s incredible to think Neil Lennon has survived the rap sheet we’ve laid out below.

There have been at least five times this season where I’ve personally believed the Celtic manager would not survive a particular result and he’s come out of every one of these games still in the job.

Why has Neil Lennon been given carte blanche to drive this club off a cliff this season, why wasn’t the breaks put on in September, October or even November when the season was still salvageable?

The club came out and said they would not make a hasty decision! Not getting rid of the manager after the derby defeat in October would have been hasty, the pace they’re at right now would see a snail overtake this Celtic board.

Check out Neil Lennon’s rap sheet.

August – Ferencvaros (Champions League Exit)

October – Rangers (No shots on target), Milan, Lille

November – Sparta Prague, Sparta Prague, Ross County (Two 4-1 defeats and knocked out of the League Cup)

December – Milan, St Johnstone

January – Rangers, Hibs, Livi , St Mirren (Dubai debacle)

February – Ross County  (18 points behind in the league)

I ask again, why is the manager still in a job?
