Former two time Celtic boss Neil Lennon has received a Europa League reality check during Matchday one of the competition in Thursday evening.

Drawn into a group with Real Sociedad, Manchester Utd and and Sheriff. Omonoia played Sheriff at home on Thursday in what was arguably there best chance of taking any points in the group. However, they were soundly beaten 3-0 on the night and gave the former Celtic captain much food for thought.
Neil Lennon has former Celtic star Adam Matthews who played on Thursday. The Irishman also signed Gary Hooper last week in a bid to get his team firing. Gary is yet to play — the former Celtic hero will be hoping to do his manager a massive turn in the coming months.
