KARAMOKO DEMBELE is being lauded as a fantastic talent and rightly so, the young player continues to impress and with Celtic fans keeping a keen eye on the midfielder since he came into the club a lot of focus is on the player.

However, while Dembele has been watched every step of the way a new bhoy has emerged at Lennoxtown, a young lad who turned down a scholarship with Arsenal to sign for Celtic – Armstrong Oko-Flex.

The 17-year-old has come into the Celtic youth set-up and been so good he’s been playing for the reserves for most of the season. With Dembele away on international duty this week, it was Armstrong Oko-Flex who took the plaudits again with the opening goal of Celtic’s 3-1 win over Motherwell, sending the bhoys to the top of the table.

The player was plucked from St Kevins Bhoys Club in Dublin by Arsenal back in 2013 but decided to come to Celtic last summer to continue his development.

Oko-Flex has been a constant threat for the developmental side this season and has rarely been out of the starting XI. The player did so well he was given a place on the bench in what would turn out to be Brendan Rodgers last away game in charge at Rugby Park.

He may only be 17 but if Celtic can wrap up the league sooner rather than later, it would be great to see his reserve form be rewarded with a first Celtic appearance.
