SOUTHAMPTON fans have been reacting to speculation surrounding one of their on-loan players Mohamed Elyounoussi with Celtic fans desperate to hold onto the player.
A lot of the Southampton fans on social media greeted the speculation coming from Football Insider with glee and declared they should rip Celtic’s hand off to get any sort of cash deal for the player.
Mo is a guy that thrives on attacking play and advancing as much as possible. There’s no way that’s possible at Southampton with the number of games they spend pegged back.
The comments show no humility from a fan base whose team were destroyed 9-0 recently in the Premier League. One of them actually uses the hashtag ‘levels’ referring to Moi staying at Celtic.
Moi is enjoying his season so far at Celtic and has become an important player for the club. His fee and wages would be an issue for Celtic and it would be up to the club to cut a deal if they desperately wanted to keep him beyond the summer.
He will be playing at a Crystal Palace or a Burnley next season
