It’s not what most Celtic fans want to hear but we’re approaching ANOTHER international break – the third in three months.

This means some down time ahead of a very heavy fixture list between the end of November and right up until December 29.

One man who will be looking forward to the international break is Greg Taylor, the left-back has only got one appearance to his name so far in the Hoops but he could find himself starring for Scotland during international week.

Kieran Tierney has been ruled out of the Scotland squad by Arsenal who say they want to use the break to correct an injury Kieran has been carrying for some time. This puts Taylor as back-up to Andy Robertson and if the player gets injured or the Scotland manager Steve Clarke wants to manage the Liverpool star then Taylor could get another cap for his country.

There’s no way, at this moment in time, if both Kieran and Andy are fit that Greg gets into this team. Steve Clarke will no Greg’s qualities more than most from managing the player at Kilmarnock – he would have no qualms throwing Greg in against Cyprus or Kazakhstan.
