It may have been a frustrating night for the Brendan Rodgers’ men but it would have still been a success for debut bhoy Ewan Henderson who followed in his brother Liam’s footsteps making his first team debut.
Liam may have moved on but there is still one member of the Henderson family pushing his way into Brendan Rodgers plans.
Brendan is not one for just playing players for the sake of it. Ewan was chosen in the squad on merit with the Celtic manager keen to give the youngster experience and rest his stars at the same time.
While it was a disappointing 0-0 draw, Ewan will be hungry to get back into the team as soon as possible. He’ll be hoping that more standout performances in the developmental squad will help his cause.
However, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the player head out on-loan next season.
His brother Liam was proud to see his brother make his debut.
Congrats on your debut bro. What an achievement 🙌🏼💚 pic.twitter.com/Haxl7mdtjL
