The Champions welcome the side that finished bottom of the English Premier League last season to Celtic Park today looking to maintain their unbeaten record throughout pre-season. Norwich will take part in the Bhoy’s last preseason game before the new season starts properly next week.

There will be 8 days between the Norwich game and flag day, giving Ange much more time to tweak or change his mind. So today’s starting XI should be interesting.

Celtic have won two and drawn three of their five previous friendly fixtures with a 7-0 win over SC Wiener Viktoria kicking things off, before a 3-3 draw with Rapid Vienna was followed by a 4-2 win over Banik Ostrava, then back-to-back 2-2 draws against Blackburn Rovers and Legia Warsaw.

Most opposition teams have got back into the game after the Celts battered them in the first half, eleven subs are brought on and the Celtic momentum dies off, which is fine for this stage of the game.

Celtic have scored 18 goals in their five preseason games so far but the manager would probably like a clean sheet before kicking off the new league campaign next Sunday.

This is how the Champions will line up today:

Mortiz Jenz & Aaron Mooy only arrived at the club a few days ago but both are on the bench today and fans should get their first look at the pair at some point today.
