Celtic made easy work of Hibernian at Easter Road on Wednesday night, wrapping up 2022 with a 4-0 victory while sitting nine points ahead in the league.
Two goals from Aaron Mooy and a goal a piece from Kyogo and Maeda made it a very happy ending to the year for the bhoys.
Celtic were brilliant on the night but especially Aaron Mooy who was likely only on the field because Celtic were forced to play Reo Hatate at right back.
Mooy was sensational. The Australian was ever-present and even taking his two goals out of the equation, he was the architect in midfield and really helped the bhoys get forward.

After the game, the Celtic players went over to the Celtic support as always. Instead of the usual chants, the Celtic fans pulled out a new chant especially for the midfielder.
The Hoops fans singing ‘Aaron, Aaron Mooy’ to the tune of ‘Daddy cool’. The Celtic players made sure Mooy soaked in the moment and took the applause from the supporters.
As 2023 wraps up, we now look to 2023. The first game of the new year is just a short trip down the M8 to Ibrox. Celtic go their in confident move.
