LIEL ABADA has admitted his amazement of the Atmosphere at Celtic Park in an interview after his face was plastered on billboards in his home country.

Abada is another signing he has created shockwaves throughout Scottish football, despite just turning twenty. The winger arrived at Parkhead with very little known about him but soon changed that after performing well directly contributing to ten goals – six goals and four assists – in fifteen games in the hoops.

He said his move to Scotland was a dream for him – even when he was signing his contract.

“I remember arriving at a restaurant and I was shown the contract. I grabbed my head. I knew my dream was coming true.

“Anyone who hasn’t been to Celtic Park does not understand what an atmosphere is. You do not understand what a shiver it gives. My song too, and when they sing You’ll Never Walk Alone. It’s hard for me to even explain in words.” [Sport 5]

In the interview, the Israeli who is set to face two Scottish teammates on Saturday talked about a desire to play in the Premier League and potentially take Liverpool winger Mo Salah’s place in the Merseyside team.

“The biggest dream is Liverpool, but I have to keep working hard at Celtic to prove myself and take it step by step. Should Mo Salah worry? From me? No, He is a super player.” [Sport 5]

Despite this being ambitious, never rule any move out. Abada is still young and has the potential to be a top winger. It will be exciting to see how he can perform at Celtic – if he makes it to Liverpool one dau – it’s because he’s excelled at Celtic.

  1. The Bhoys 19 ffs, if he’s got it would be a bit strange if he didn’t have ambition, Christ, most Celtic supporters wish we were playing in the epl! It’s one of the attractions we have in bringing young talent to our club, playing in Europe, getting seen, playing for their countries unfortunately and eventually moving on to bigger things and a massively bigger pay packet. We’ve been a feeder club since Kenny Dalgleish!

In other news Alex McLeish is totally astounded by something he said himself.
