Celtic have five games left of their season where they look to wrap up a league title and Scottish Cup which would land them a famous treble treble.
However, looking past that for a second, the club is still no further forward in appointing a new full-time manager. Celtic fans have been subject to intense speculation about who will be the next man in charge but the latest name to be linked has us all scratching our heads.
Steffen Baumgart. Yeah, who?
The German manager who is in charge of second-tier German side Paderborn is in a battle to get his side to the Bundesliga in the coming weeks has been linked with a move to Celtic. Odds on the coach moving to Celtic have tumbled over the past few days according to The Scotsman.
Former BT Sport commentator Derek Rae gave some lowdown on the coach.
Steffen Baumgart is doing a terrific job at @SCPaderborn07. Guided them back into the 2. Bundesliga in style after only a technicality (1860) stopped relegation to the Regionalliga. Now has the Paderborner playing arguably the best football of any 2nd division side in 2019. https://t.co/zxAshtGebw

It would be very difficult not to make a Ronny Deila with this sort of appointment. A relative unknown who has done well in his own country getting a shot at the Celtic gig.
It seems very far fetched at this point.
