Celtic’s new hybrid pitch is now installed and is looking in great shape for the new season.

The pitch has taken two seasons to be fully complete due to the process and time constraints of a short off season.

The pitch is designed to withstand all weathers and not decay like many football pitches do throughout the harsh winters we get in Scotland.

It will be conducive to good football and it’s one of the first things Brendan a Rodgers requested when he became the Celtic manager.

The board have backed the Irishman to the tune of £1.5million to ensure his team can play entertaining football.

Elsewhere around the stadium the new weather shielding along with the lights both flood and entertainment ones are being installed daily.

Celtic a Park will be looking fantastic when the Celtic fans return in July.

Celtic could have a home European qualifier on the 11/12th July but failing that the friendly against Standard Liege will be the first time fans can see the changes up close and personal.
