Gorgios Giakoumakis has been officially unveiled at Lennoxtown on Thursday afternoon and he’s made a big wave with the number on his jersey!
The Greek striker has taken the legendary number 7! Worn by the two most famous and legendary Celts Jimmy Johnstone and Henrik Larsson!
The number has also been worn by some lesser known players who had less of an impact.
Miku, Freddie Ljungberg, Juninho and some of you will remember Maceij Zurawski!
The former Venlo striker will have been told all about the number seven before holding it proudly at Lennoxtown today alongside new signings Carter-Vickers and Felipe Jota.
Celtic signed these three bhoys on the final day of the window.
Carter-Vickers move came in the eleventh hour and he rounded off a very busy window for the club.
Both Jota and Vickers are here on loan – however – the club do have an option to buy on both players.
The new bhoys will get a chance to settle in at Lennoxtown before domestic football is back. International football gives Celtic a little time to breathe before heading back into a heavy group of fixtures.
