Osaze Urhoghide has posted his first tweet since becoming a Celtic player this evening.
It’s been a busy day for the defender who only really came onto Celtic fans’ radars in the past 12 hours.
Usually Celtic take weeks to get deals done – this one was in the bag very quickly.
We had just finished writing an article about Urhoghide saying goodby to Sheffield Wednesday when the deal got announced.
On social media it was a short introduction from the new Celtic defender who quoted Celtic’s original tweet adding the words ‘new home’

He also changed his profile picture to him in a Celtic jersey.
We’ll likely learn a lot about the 20-year-old over the piece. Ange Postecoglou did speak with the player before he was signed.
The club had been tracking Osaze since before Ange’s arrival.
It marks the first signing of the Ange and Dom era. If they wanted to show they could get things done promptly they certainly pulled that off today.
Osaze’s first game for Celtic could be against his old side Sheffield Wednesday next week when the club’s get together for a friendly down south.
