IF you watch the SPFL through the lens of Sky Sports and BT Sport during the year most of you will agree BT Sports puts out a far superior coverage of our game.

However, Sunsport is reporting that Sky Sports are about to outbid the BT channel for ALL SPFL game from 20/21.

The current TV deals end after next season and with the rights out to tender last month, it’s believed bosses are close to a new deal.

Reports suggest Sky Sports have blown BT out of the water with their bid – which is still measly compared to down south.

Sunsport Wrote: They have lined up a three-year TV rights deal worth a whopping £30m-plus per season, blowing BT Sport out of the picture.

They would take over coverage of the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership from the 2020-21 campaign.

And it could leave fierce rival BT Sport with NOTHING.

The deal would see Sky Sports claiming at least 60 matches a season, including the coveted four Old Firm derbies, plus end of season Premiership play-offs.

This would be terrible news for Scottish football, without BT Sports pushing SKY they will regress on their already pitiful build up and post-match game time.

We hope this isn’t the case, but there’s a possibility we’sre stuck with the likes of Kris Boyd and Kris Commons for our ‘expert’ analysis.
