Celtic have already signed three new players this summer and the spending isn’t going to stop there. The bhoys only have one recognised right back in Anthony Ralston and must dip back into the market for a player in that position.

MailSport have reported Celtic’s strong interest in Luton defender Jack Stacey but have now noted that club face competition from Bournemouth in pursuit of the player’s signature.

Stacey could be just what Celtic need, a promising right back who wouldn’t cost too much and can play upwards of 50 games per season. The player managed over 50 games for his club last term so he is certainly up for the challenge.

With Celtic’s eagerness to get deals done, we could find out sooner or later what Stacey and Luton are thinking when it comes to his future.

The club will know if Bournemouth are genuinely in the race, it could be hard to tempt the player with the English club having more money to throw around.
