CELTIC FANS had a bit of fun with the PSG Official social media account yesterday when they wished their loan player Timo Weah a Happy Birthday with the tag line ‘We miss you’.

This prompted Celtic fans to reply to the French club on Twitter with a bit of banter with the club replying to some of them in good spirit.

Maybe they’ll fall for it if Celtic send Marvin Compper.

Timo is enjoying his spell in Glasgow and has made most of his appearances from the bench so far. The PSG youngster has become a fan favourite already with the passion and determination he’s showing when he’s on the field.

Timo is due to go back to France at the end of the season but we get the impression there could be scope for a longer loan move should both parties want it to happen.

PSG have a squad full of ridiculous expensive talent and if Timo heads back to early it could spoil his development.

  1. The biggest and best manager in his time, He had taken his club to the pinnacle of European football and had beaten another top European team in their own right, The big man was told by another famous footballing manager that you are now “Immortal” He had taken his team from within only 30 odd miles from their stadium who had become known as The Lisbon Lions when they brought this massive trophy nicknamed as “Big Luggy” The first non latin team to win the European Cup, The first team from British shores, What a massive feat that this great man who had managed our great team, Do you think that anyone at that time ever mention religion or even think about religion (etc) No we were revelling in enjoyment and full of excitement regarding what our great manager and players did not only for their supporters but everyone who had stood up and applauded in the game of football, No mention of what religion our boss was or our players that were non-catholic, “YET” On a dreadful day at the home of our rivals disaster struck those that were old enough shall forever have etched in their heads, When rival supporters had perished lost their lives others with severe injuries and others with minor injuries, Supporters went to a football match and some of them never ever did return home to their loved ones, As I say those that did survive shall have etched in their head how their fellow supporters in such tragic circumstances, We all remember that our great manager “The Boss” Who had assisted some of those supporters who had perished He laid bodies side by side in a dignified and humane way, Though he was hurting the same as everybody else at that tragic time, He also assisted with those supporters that had suffered tragic injuries, Do you think that anyone ever concerned themselves about what religion or what team you supported “NO” We all or must of us have family and friends who support another team and are from a religious background, Come on this is 2018 Yet on both sets of the divide sing songs regarding blood and death to and from each other, Songs that are of hatred for one another’s religion, Absolutely abysmal totally bang out of order, Yes go and support your team and quite rightly we should all celebrate but in a dignified manner, Let’s put it this way, Be honest how many supporters have taken their son’s/daughters to a football match Your son’s/daughter ask you a question, Dad “WHY” & What Are The Supporters Singing Songs about hating each other and singing about religion then they come out with, Dad I don’t want to come back I am feeling scared, I want to stay at home, If you are really truthful you shall not deny this, But we should all remember our children are supporters of the future and we should all do our best as parents and adults try to help and assist others by getting together and discuss how we can eliminate the negatives and try and work on the positives for all our children’s tomorrow, “Football Forever” !!!
