From an uncertain start following his January arrival, the German winger has become a vital cog in Brendan Rodgers’ machine, with the BBC’s Scottish Football Podcast’s Marvin Bartley declaring him the “best player in the country” after a string of standout performances.

Kuhn’s stats back up the praise: 22 goal involvements this season underline his impact on Celtic’s domestic and European campaigns. That’s just five goals and assists off Jota’s best season in the Hoops.

Speaking after Celtic’s 4-1 win over Hearts, where Kuhn scored a second-half goal, Bartley was effusive in his assessment:

“They have a man right now in Nicolas Kuhn, who is the best player in the country, no doubt about it. He is a real game-changer. We speak about Rangers not having a clear identity to what they are doing. Celtic have that. Celtic will wear you done by making the same runs. Underlapping runs.”

With his consistency and ability to deliver in critical moments, Kuhn is quickly becoming a leading candidate for Player of the Season.

If he maintains this form, the German winger will not only push Celtic toward more silverware but also cement his place as one of the standout talents in Scottish football.

He’s already attracting a lot of interest from down south ahead of the January transfer window, but the player and agents have both come out and said that they arent paying too much attention to the noise.

Celtic, despite reports, haven’t set a price tag on the player, who they’re looking to keep at the club.
