NEIL LENNON was quick to shoot down the suggestion Celtic needed to balance the books by selling players or that his transfer ambitions would be hampered if they were to exit the Europa League at the playoff stage.

Speaking to the media before flying out to Bosnia, the Celtic manager fielded questions about his squad and if there would have to be a balancing act in the coming days with one or two players leaving.

“No, absolutely not. We want the week to end as soon as possible, we want to keep all our players.” Neil told CelticTV.

“I think the club is quite strong on that, we don’t want anyone to leave.

“We want to keep all our assets and regardless of the result tomorrow that will be the case.”

This doesn’t mean there won’t be exits come before the October 5th deadline but the Celtic boss is keen to keep a hold of his major talents.

Tom Rogic turned down a move away from the club this window already after the club had accepted a bid. Other players under the microscope have been Odsonne Edouard, Olivier Ntcham and Ryan Christie.

It will be interesting to see who will be here when the deadline has passed.
