PATRICK ROBERTS will NOT be making a return to Celtic next season with the Englishman reportedly about to sign for newly promoted Premier League side Norwich.

The Englishman has been dying to play Premier League football to show what he can do and it looks like Manchester City are going to let the clock run down on the midfielder’s contract as it enters its last year.

Roberts had come to Glasgow at the weekend to watch Celtic win the treble treble at Hampden Park sparking rumours he could be set to reunite with the club but it looks like it was only a friendly visit as he gets set for a Norwich medical tomorrow according to SunSport.

Roberts spent two and a half years at Celtic on-loan from Manchester City before heading to Girona last summer for a season-long loan. His time in Spain didn’t work out and now he looks to try and make waves with Norwich to try and earn a big money contract next summer when he’s a free agent.
