In the build up to the Glasgow Derby this weekend we will be looking at recent Glasgow Derby wins for Celtic.

The bhoys were humbled at Ibrox when a heavily patched up Celtic side got beat 1-0 by the blues in less than ideal conditions. There may be a new manager in the door at Celtic Park but the players will have that defeat on their mind come Sunday and they must use it to hammer home their advantage.

The first game we’re going to look back at is the title winning day of 2018. It was The Rangers coming to town hoping to stop a title party. While Celtic’s league triumph was inevitable, there was hope among their own supporters that they could at least spoil our day.

Cue the famous words from Ian Crocker on commentary as the third goal went in “No contest this, No contest whatsoever” – never was a truer word spoken. Celtic absolutely annihilated their Glasgow rivals showing no mercy and in all honesty, the team could have scored another five goals that day with the end result flattering The Rangers at just 5-0.

Have a look.
