Neil Lennon was asked today if he understood the discontent and the need for change among the fans right now.
His reaction to the question was very telling and appears to playing to the hardcore elements of his support who have turned Celtic FC into Neil Lennon FC.
It’s not just his words but the contempt he appeared to have for the question when he hits out with just a ‘no’ and leaving it to linger before elaborating.
This wasn’t a man in the media asking a question, it was a question asked by a Celtic fan, attending the virtual presser for fan based media, The Cynic.

There’s a hardcore element of the support who just can’t see past Neil Lennon for whatever reason and they won’t acknowledge his failings and the major drop in standards since he returned.
Answering that question in the manner he did, says a lot.
