STEVE CLARKE knows a win against Israel will seal a top place finish in the nations league and he’s going all out for the win.

The starting XI who beat Serbia on penalties starts tonight in Israel. Which means Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie are both starters for the Scots.

Leigh Griffiths takes his place on the bench again, hoping to get some meaningful game time for his country after helping them to the historic win during the penalty shoot out last Thursday.

McGregor links up with his city rival, Ryan Jack who helped win the midfield battle for Scotland a week ago. Jack spoke today how they both put club rivalries aside for the Scotland cause [Read More Here].

Dykes is up front and Christie will play off him, it has worked well so far, so why change things.

Former Celtic players David Marshall and Kieran Tierney are both in the starting XI too. In fact, if you want to go further back, there’s a heavy Celtic influence in that team. Andy Robertson and Declan Gallagher were both on Celtic’s books once upon a time.

Scotland will want to finish on a high, this is the last international break of the year and after qualifying for their first major tournament in twenty-two years, topping their Nations League group would be the cherry on top.

Bitton will line up against Scotland for Israel, Elhamed can’t because he’s suspended after being sent off at the weekend.
