Celtic have let some fringe players go already this season, it’s been surprising a few more haven’t already left the building, but there could be movement in the coming weeks and months.

One player who looks to have run his race at Celtic Park is Jack Hendry. Not for the want of trying but the former Dundee man has never really fit into the club and was sent out to Australia on-loan last season. The centre-back couldn’t catch a break and suffered a serious injury as soon as he went over to Australia, missing out on his chance to impress.

There seems to be little appetite at the club to bring Jack back into the fold and we expect the player’s agent might have been instructed to get him a move elsewhere this summer.

Hendry has two years left on his Celtic deal and another loan to run down his contract appears to be the most likely solution.

The transfer window hasn’t opened yet with the SFA delaying the timeframe of business to help coincide with the rest of Europe.
