NEIL LENNON has NO CHOICE but to scrap his favoured 3-5-2 formation after the Milan game on Thursday night.

The Celtic manager has been persevering with the formation after it paid so much dividends last season for the bhoys.

This time around, we’ve looked hopeless at times; the Glasgow Derby and first half of the Milan game showing we are not at our best in the system.

To Lenny’s credit, he changed it at half time and the bhoys started to come more and more into the game. A 4-3-2-1 set up was put in place and Celtic looked dangerous. They clawed there way back into the game and were unlucky not to get a point in the end.

We should now be asking the question what players start in the second half system, rather than what system we should use.

Tom Rogic looked good, Ryan Christie was hungry and we still have Eddy, Jullien and Forrest among others to come back into the fold.

  1. Yes agree we got to change we have to many slow players on back line or is it they are just unfit, next thing we must sort out S Brown needs to rest and play bit part games and let faster thinkers play there game in midfield if not the season is over we have a chance to get this season on the road but our manager is running out of time…

    • Brown no worse than McGregor this season- about time McGregor stopped playing safe possession passes and actually control and influence the game-its OK doing it against Hamilton & Ross County but where is he when we’re up against a higher level of opponent.? Nowhere to be seen
