Recently promoted English Premier League side Norwich City are remaining firm in their stance of Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.

As reported by Glasgow Live, according to Pink Un the Canaries have made it clear they will not budge in their offer to sign the Norweigan from the Hoops and have told the club it is ‘take it or leave it’.

It was recently reported that Celtic had turned down offers in the region of £10 million from both Norwich and Bayern Leverkusen as they hold out for a higher transfer fee for the 24-year old.

At this stage, it doesn’t appear any other clubs will be looking to make their move for Ajer, despite it remaining highly likely he will leave this summer, with his deal running down to its final year.

Of course, this could be a tactic from Daniel Farke’s side to try and bring Ajer down South on a cheaper deal.

It will be interesting to see the developments of these reports. One thing that has been made certain by new manager Ange Postecoglou is that players will only leave on his terms and in the club’s best interest.
