SEAD HAKSABANOVIC has been really impressive throughout his start at Celtic, with his direct and skilful play keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
Despite not scoring a goal yet, he’s managed to get an assist, and you feel that his first goal is on the way. He’s had some terrific moments in games and looks to be a proper player.
With him tied down on a five-year deal, he’s a player who has a long, and bright, future at Celtic.
Speaking to Celtic TV ahead of the side’s trip to Livingston, Sead said;
“I’m very happy to have the chance to play in front of the fans, for this club, for everything. I’m here to take my chance.
“I’m not 100% fully fit yet, I still feel I have some levels. Hopefully, I can start helping the team get some points with assists and goals.
“I think I’m playing well right now, so I’m just going to continue doing that.”
He’s played a few positions for Celtic, taking up the attacking midfield role and a spot on the left wing. That’s one of the reasons why Celtic brought him in, a versatile player like that comes in handy with a hectic schedule.
With Jota returning from injury, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with Sead’s minutes. Ange may choose to rotate the pair or move Haksabanovic back into the number 10 position.
