NEIL LENNON has addressed Celtic fans directly ahead of the Glasgow Derby on Saturday. The Celtic manager told the support to enjoy the game but to make sure they do so in a safe and responsible way.
There has been much talk of the current lockdown measures being tested by the derby and some will seek to break the rules or flout them by either hosting people they shouldn’t or heading south of the border to watch in a bar.
The message is clear from the Celtic manager.
Neil Lennon's advice to @CelticFC fans ahead of @RangersFC game: "Enjoy the game at home. Stay with your family, don't put yourself or anyone else in jeopardy. Please don't travel.
"Going out, going to other places, different towns, it is not ideal, not acceptable."— Ronnie Esplin (@RonnieEsplin) October 16, 2020
We would urge our support to do the same. Let’s cheer our team onto victory while using our common sense.
It’s far from ideal and we all should be getting revved up for a trip to Celtic Park in the morning. As things have transpired, we must watch the derby like never before and see our players go to war inside an empty Celtic Park.
