OLIVIER NTCHAM started his third game for Marseille this afternoon and for the third time, he was subbed off at half time.

The Celtic loan player is yet to play a full game or even an hour of continuous football since making the move from Scotland to France.

The midfielder was desperate for the move and Celtic granted him his wish and sent the Hoops star on his way until the summer.

Olivier wasn’t getting much time at Celtic this season before his move and it appeared to be the best thing for all parties.

When the Frenchman did make the loan move, it prompted Marseille boss Andres Vilas Boas to resign because he did not want the player signed.

Right now, it looks like this loan deal has been an unmitigated disaster for Oli.

Celtic fans want to know if Marseille’s option to buy is compulsory at the end of the season, because if it’s not, then he will certainly return to the club this summer.

  1. Looking like new hoops manager will need to keep a bunk bed available for Sam the Ntcham, no way are his loan arrangers in France daft enough to take on this lazy fekr

  2. “Option” to buy means it’s not mandatory. If it was mandatory he would be their player already and off our books. He’s coming back to CP in the summer, unfortunately. I’d take the first offer that matches what we paid and get him gone.

  3. Even if it’s a Russian or Chinese side, if they were willing to pay the money, it would benefit the player too, as he could do a year away in obscurity, no scrutiny, build up his credentials again and get fit, then maybe a couple of years in Europe, a little richer for it. As long as we get our money back.
