ALBIAN AJETI got a start after being rested against St Johnstone on Sunday but the striker failed to impress in the Aberdeen game before being taken off in 62nd minute for Tom Rogic.

The striker scored against Kilmarnock but has failed to hit the back of the net in his two starts since. He has been subbed off in those two games also which is worth mentioning.

Tonight, it was difficult to see what he can bring under this team at the minute. The service isn’t there for a penalty box striker.

The Swiss frontman is yet to show why Celtic paid so much for him in the summer and might have to wait until next season to see what he can do properly.

Chance creation in this side right now isn’t the best and if we’re going to improve next season you have to imagine he’d thrive in a much more imaginative Celtic side.

Some fans have already made up their mind.

It’s hard to hold a proper defence of Ajeti’s contributions to the club so far but it shouldn’t be a forgone conclusion.
