CHRIS SUTTON believes Celtic can still qualify for the Champions League play-off round next week in Greece but it’s going to be a ‘big challenge’.

The former Celtic striker watched his old side play well but ultimately draw 1-1 with Athens on the night.

Sutton bemoaned the soft goal given away by Celtic when they were in control of the tie and believes if they don’t get through to the next round – then fingers will be pointed about deals not getting done sooner.

Celtic fans seen John McGinn slip through the clubs grasp yesterday after Aston Villa signed the midfielder from under Celtic’s noses.

It was a bad day for Lawwell and the board for sure – if the team can get past Athens then investment will be needed.
