We’re only four days removed from Celtic’s historic win against Lazio but their own fallout continues.

According to reports which were confirmed by Lazio president Claudio Lotito, the man himself burst into the players changing room after their defeat to Celtic and read them the riot act.

Lotito believes his squad is full of talent but they lack the heart and desire which Celtic had in bundles on the night.

“I have always acted like this club is a part of my family and I wanted to speak to the players after the game.” Lotito told SunSport.

“In my opinion, this team does not lack the required players, but the necessary attributes. You need a lot of heart to play for this club.

“There was a lack of character.”

Celtic made sure of their Europa League knockout status with the victory in Rome and now the Italian club must beat Cluj and hope the bhoys do them a favour in the final game when they go away to Cluj on the final game of the group.

There was good news for Lazio on the domestic front as they club blasted four goals past Lecce on Sunday afternoon. Correa, Savic and Immobile all back scoring as they try to shake off the defeat.
